Something strange that makes me SO happy...

...is cooler weather. Now, I know it is not cool here by some people's definitions... but when I look at the Dallas weather forecast this week and see high temperatures of 82, 80, 78, 83... I just smile! And just so you all know this about me, my FAVORITE temperature is 65. So anytime we get close to that temperature I get excited. So not only are the highs looking nice, the lows are even better - 68, 65, 65, 66! That means we can go outside in the morning and have it feel cool :)

Now these temperatures are caused by a storm front coming through the area, but hey, I'll take the rain no problem if it means cooler temperatures.

It is a little easier to please me with these temperatures than some other Dallasites because having moved here only a little over a year ago, I am still used to the Phoenix summer weather. Here is their forecast for the next few days... 105, 106, 107, 107!!!

I am a weather nerd. Always have been. I blame my dad.

My favorite is 70, so I'm right there with you! Being pregnant, this weather is great! Now if it would only stay this cool!

Prepare your guest room (or the coach)--I'll be there soon. This is my 10th summer here and I think I've finally gotten somewhat used to the heat. I don't like it, but I've adjusted some. :)

As for Logen's undies (hope your other blog readers don't think that comment odd)--don't be too fooled into thinking he's completely done potty training. Logen will have 2 or 3 great days and then say "I want a diaper" the minute he has an accident. He's doing well, but it's all on his terms.

And to answer your question for advice--they will train when they are ready. Seriously, when I stopped "trying" so hard with Kallen--that is when he trained. Follow their lead when they have an interest and continue to offer it up when their interest seems to waiver. I firmly believe that pushing it on them results in a much longer process than waiting for them to be ready (both physically and mentally).

Miss ya--blow some of that weather our way.

I am in complete agreement with you. The Phoenix weather was killer on us. We are so glad to be out of it now.
